Default The 8th WOnder of the World :)

G'day all,
This is one of the projects that kept me busy the last week.
It's a sandpit I built, with help from my Neighbour, for my little Grandson.

The idea was just to enclose it so that cats couldn't use the nice white sand as a dunny, but I think we got a tad carried away

All of the materials came from Skips with the exception of the hardware, so I'd say I had a win

Well done, having something like that is great for the kids. And it pays off big time knowing the kids are in your yard, not going somewhere else. You are lucky, its a 94 hour round trip to see my grand daughter! Oh well enjoy. Seeing that project put you on top of the pile in my book. Its a pity more kids dont have a grandpa like you.

By the way what is that 4 footed critter running around in the first pic. some kind of Aussie gopher? To small to be a dog. Just kidding, although in our house if you have to bend over to pet it, it ain't a dog.
Alan and Chance, she might be deaf but at 170lbs she has ways to let you know she is here.

Good on 'ya John!!! The crumb cruncher looks like he's growing up into a full scale porch monkey to me. Got your hands full of grandson there eh? Thanks for the pics. They certainly put a smile on my face. Good way to start the week.

Nice job. A lot more complicated that the one I built. It only has sides and corner braces for sitting on. Doesn't keep the deer out though.
