| my addictions know boundaries!!! well, i havent been here inna bit. it seems i have gotten back into an old addiction.... motorcycles!!!! i have a friend who was storing his and his wife's bikes in my garage for the winter. about 6 weeks ago he came over to get them ready for the summer and he forced( i hate pain, so it was rather easy!) to get on his wife's bike and go for a ride with him. first time in 14 years!!!! so, anyways, i bought a bike 2 weeks later. kinda fell in my lap. so i have been feeding Nadine( that is her name) and gettn her ready for the summer. since i have been battling cancer for the past 2 years and haven't had too much fun outside of the shop, it's time for fun!! i think i'm gonna cruise michigan this summer. but i will be back!! it still gets cold in november!!! |

| I am now riding motorcycle #14. I've had everything from Hondas to Harleys since I was in my 20's. Pushing 64 now and just bought a new Harley Heritage Softail Classic last June. When my legs get too old to hold it on two wheels I'm gonna trike it out and keep on keepin' on!!! I love my scooter!! BTW..yesterday is the first time in my life it cost $20.00 to fill the tank on a motorcycle. I once had a Datsun automobile I could fill up for half of that!!!

| Riding a motorcycle seems to keep people young, speaking from family experience. My grandfather used to ride a motorcycle every day up until he was 85! He had an infection in his leg and it turned into gangarine and the doctors had to amputate. A couple days later he died, we believe of a broken heart due to not being able to ride. He always said that the day he couldn't ride anymore may as well be the day he dies, and he did. So ... my theory is ride as long as you can and never lose that wind in the hair feeling.
