Question got lost

I was just wondering ( and got lost) How do I enter something in my profile under the Group Member Ship? This is the section on the lower right side of the members profile page. Where it says "----- is not a member of any public groups" Thank you....

PS. I have not seen John B around for a couple of days. Any news?

I don't know that this forum uses the group membership feature. (at least not for general membership. Admin and moderators are their own group.)

On another forum, Group membership allows access to a sub-forum specifically aimed at a geographical region or metropolitan area.

Maybe BobD or Admin could add clarification?

Actually, the forum uses "Group Membership" for any sort of instant messager you use. Not sure why it calls it group membership, but that's what it is...

Thanks for the info Bob. But I have no use for instant messenger. That's what telephones are for. (not text messages either) . Just talk and use whole words too........

Whole words? What are they? Test messaging is a language all its own. My son can type about 100 letters (not words) a minute on his cell phone!!

Pete, I live a little south west of Bean Town. About 15-20 minute drive (without traffic).
