Default fishing report (dial-up beware)

this past weekend we had our "Spring Bash" fishing get together with some of our internet fishing friends. we couldn't of asked for better weather and the fishing wasn't to bad either.

here's the camping area that we took over for the weekend....

It was a small group this year, only 65 people attend but we still had a great time....

Mrs. Trout and I got up there Thursday night so we could have all day Friday to fish.

we had another couple join us on and I was able to get them hooked up....

Friday we had 14 hook-ups and got 9 fish to the boat...
we were catching fresh water King Salmon, Kokanee and Trout up to 19 inches trolling a bunch of different gear down 25 to 45 ft in 100 ft of water..

the fishing fleet in for the night...

when the guys picked up the pig from the butcher he throw in a goat for Friday nights dinner...

we ordered a 60 lb pig but the butcher didn't have one that small so he gave us this 160 lb beast for our Saturday night dinner...

Saturday, the fishing was just as good. Mrs.Trout and I hooked up with another 9 fish...

we sure had a lot of boats on the water and we were all in contact with each other over the radio...

one of the guys is trying to put together a cable fishing show, here I am giving my prospective on the fishing...

Mrs.Trout took over 175 pictures but we'll leave it at this...

I guess I better get back in the shop and finish up my daughters rose heart wedding present, 25 more days....

Thanks for looking..

Trout

Default we have a lot of new members....

and some of them are probably wondering why I'm posting fishing reports on a scroll saw site.....

we've been doing these get togethers twice a year for the past 6 years and for the last couple years I have been sharing them here on the board...

not only do we eat good, drink lots and have a good time..we have a raffle...
for the last couple years I have made the grand prize which has been one of my wood pieces...
they all had work in progress threads so everyone got to see what I was donating...

you can check most of them out in my gallery....

I didn't do a piece for the raffle this time because we have so much going on with wedding stuff, 70th birthday party and family reunion and work.....

come Monday, I should be back in the shop finishing up my daughter wedding present.

Looks like a load of fun but don't you ever catch anything besides fingerlings?
