| Just got back fro Anzac day Service G'day all,
I just got back from the ANZAC Day service and parade. I took the Grandson and we had a good time.
It's sad seeing the number dwindle away each year as the older veterans move on.
Anyhow, here are some photos, of our towns parade.

| WOW John. A parade, having a good time and no protesters. Must be make believe. Sorry, couldn't help myself. Looks like you have a beautiful town and I bet the little bloke with the flag is the grandson.

| G'day Tom and Roger,
Thank you.
Roger, Pete has provided a link.
Tom, no need to apologise mate.
Kalgoorlie is the sort of town that if anybody was stupid enough to protest when something as important as the ANZAC parade and service was taking place they'd be sorted out pretty quick.
You're right, the little bloke is my little mate. He had a great time seeing the Soldiers, and the Horses, but the highlight for him was the flyover, by 3 Airforce planes. |

| It looks like everyone had a good time. It is sad to see the older vets dying off. But it's always good to pay tribute to them and those who are still around with a good old fashioned parade.
You people drive on the wrong side of the road, though.

| Thanks for sharing the pics John. I really enjoyed seeing a bit of your town and your parade. It's fun to see a little of where others live and I've always been interested in Australia. If I ever had the chance to travel somewhere in the world (not likely), Australia would be on the top of the list.
