Default New Display Area

Well I have been keeping busy in the shop with the wood lathe. This can get to be very addictive.
I have taken time now to set up a special area in the showroom for the turned projects.

Rick: Fantastic!!! The term prolific takes on new meaning as I pour over your photo's. The turnings look really great. Do you ever sleep or stop to rest. All I can say is wow.

Rick, that looks pretty nice, but I have this slow dialup and it would take me forever to look at all your pictures.
So I will look at them over a period ot time.
Thanks for sharing them with us.

Bob

Awesome Rick....one question though. Where the heck do you find the time???? there are only 24 hours in a day..... do you suffer from sleep deprivation?

I am sort of retired so this is what I do most days. Turn and turn some more. It seems right now to be more relaxing than scrolling. Today I have finished up 2 rough turned bowls and will probably finish off 3-4 more before I call it a day.
Yesteday I rough turned 7 bowls so I would have someting to finish late next week.

Rick, that display is awesome. In all the years I've been scrolling and doing woodwork, I don't think I've made that much quality stuff all together. Man, you sure do stay busy. Thanks for the looksee. David

WHAT . . . ! !
You mean that's all you have to show ? You've been slacking off big time

But seriously, , Congratulations on your turning accomplishments . That is a wonderful bunch of turnings you have there and thanks a lot for showing them all laid out nicely like that .
I think some of your prices are way too low for most areas but even at those low prices there is a lot of moneys worth there.

Good luck with your sales and if you get more money for them than you can handle you know how to contact me to relieve yourself of the surplus. Hee Hee

I can certainly agree with what you said here.

I find the same thing . Much more relaxing than all those tedious hours of threading a blade through little holes in fretwork. Can turn a dozens items on a lathe in the same time it takes to make one on a scrollsaw and the free wood and no patterns for turning makes for an extra bonus.

Looks like you've given up scrolling and gone over to the dark side.
Nice assortment and the prices don't look bad to me.
