I use the software that came with my camera. Reduce the picture to 6x8. This is the biggest picture I can get to upload. The board will only take a picture up to a 100k in my experience.

When starting a new thread, you simply scroll down to manage attachments. That allows you to select that picture and will upload it.
If a thread is already started, you click on " Post Reply", and that will get you into a screen where you can reply and also manage attachments. You can't upload from the quick reply box.

The other option is to use a host site like picturetrail and upload the pictures to that site. In your album on that site, you will have a link bar that you cut and paste to your message here. The link bar will automatically show the picture here to us.

Adobe Photoshop Elements (ver 3) is a freebie program you can find and download & it will allow you to manipulate size of the photos so you can then upload to the bulletin board.

Hope that is helpful.
