Default First spring show

Well I just did my 1st spring show for the year, and it was a flop just barely made my table fee. Everyone was complaining, some were packing up early, turnout wasn,t to bad people weren't buying. Did the same show last year and did real good, it just goes to show how things are getting worse, people aren't spending, plus I think the price of gas has something to do with it.Hope the next show next month is better. Edward

Sorry to hear that Edward. You are probably right about the economy and gas prices. Maybe the next show should be timed for right after everyone gets their govt. rebates. They expect everyone to go out and spend the money. The problem is, a lot of people will be going to Walmarts and such and buying Chinese junk. At least that will help the Chinese economy. I wish you the best on your next show.

Sorry to hear that the show wasn't a success. There's no shows round here for another couple of months . Maybe the weather was a factor too ..?

Mmm .. how do you have a Spring Show when it's still Winter - or has PA got different seasons ..?

The weather was fairly decent, little on the cold side no rain or snow, infact this winter we had less then 3" of show not bad. Edward

Edward
Sorry to hear the show didn't pan out. I have one at the end of the month, open house at the state fish hatchery, it usually is a good one.............but we'll see. As was said gas prices are probably part of the problem.......but you are stocked for the next show.

G'day Ed,
Bummer about the show, but what you miss on the merry-go-round you pick up on the round-a-bout.
At least your not out of pocket, you have a head start on stock for show number 2.

Will be doing my first spring show next month and I hope it goes well because I have never done one at this time of year. Have always done them in the fall and people are shopping for Christmas gift.
Sorry to hear that yours did not go well. It just happens sometimes. Might have to do with the lousy winter weather.
