| I hate the time change!!! Well here it is Sunday night, 11:25 CST and I'm still awake. I really hate the time change!! My internal clock says it's only 10:25 and I'm not ready to go to sleep!!! I wish they would just figure out where they want it and leave it there!!! I'm sure going to be tired tomorrow!!

| It doesn't bother me a bit.
Where I live we are on MST (mountain standard time) every year, all year .
So I go to bed at the same time and wake up at the same time as usual.

| Takes me a few days to get over it too - That's why I was making my coffee at 5.30 this morning rather than 6.30 ..

| G'day all,
Wish they'd just leave the bloody clocks alone. Here in WA we go back to normal at the end of the month.
Politicians are amazing, we've had 3 referendums to decide whether or not the State should have Daylight savings and each one was soundly defeated. This is another 3 year "Trial" ![011[1]](http://www.scrollsawer.com/forum/images/smilies/011[1].gif) |

| Isn't it funny that time is a manmade concept And yet it rules our lives.
When I was doing some research on the sundial I discovered that in Egytian times the day was divided into 6 hours determined by shadows on a gnomon.
In the summer the "hours" were longer than in the winter.
When I lived on a farm as a kid, chores stared when the sun came up and finished when the sun went down and we went to bed.
I am looking forward to retirement, that way I don't have to punch a clock, but as a retired friend of mine often reminds me, the problem with retirement, is there is no one to tell you when the stat holidays are so you miss out on them all

| In Arizona, we don't have Daylight savings time, for the most part becuase it pushes the heat of the day (sometimes 110+ degrees) later in the day. We look forward to the sun going down and cooling to begin.
I think in this day and age, with the technology that we have, there is no need to change the clocks any more. Let's leave things like they are and forget the artificial time manipulation.
One crazy note... If you want to hear crazy ideas, look to this state. It has even been suggested we go to REVERSE daylight savings time to push the heat of the day even earlier. Which would mean that sunrise would be around 3:00am. ICK!!

| Well personally I like the daylight savings time change. Staying lighter longer in the day is O.K. with me. The only thing I have a problem with being retired is what DAY it is.
