| A couple of turned boxes Both maple - about 2 and a half inches diameter - 4 to 5 inches high finials are zebrawood and coralwood.
The woodburning was an experiment using a thingyummy (no idea what it's called!) that is meant for removing clay pots from a wheel .. works great though I think I need to shorten it a little ..!
Constructive criticism and comments on shape, design, etc are always welcome.

| Turned boxes? I thought boxes were square/rectangular? LOL Cool stuff Ian. I haven't done it, but I've heard just a bare piece of wire, wrapped around 2 pieces of wood for handles, works really good for burning lines. Keep up the good work!!
Andy

| All right PM!!! Nice looking hunks of wood with burnt lines on them.
Can't compliment the "boxes" if the lids aren't off to show the inside |

| Very nice boxes Ian.
Such fun to make and such a good seller at craft sales because there are never two the same. I find it is mostly the ladies that buy them for earings and such but sometimes men will buy them as gifts for their wives for the same purpose.
I have made a few dozen boxes and I am right out again . I will be making a bunch more right soon again to fill in sold out stock.
I sometimes show different views of some I make to include lid on and off and the inside. Here is one such case.
