Thank you to all posting in my thread. I know the scroll saw work is hand made and it is very time consuming but valuable. i check this forum to see any place i can post my thread and i got the OFF TOPIC area which best suit.

CNC is also an art. My wife did all the designing of that scenery, and u belive it took 3 hrs to design the complete scene in computer

As this machine is home made with ordinary hardware and all of the ideas are mine..so i am very proud to see my work, as u do....

I am contieneously enhancing and debottlenecking of this machine. First of all its handy, userfreindly and can do not only Vcarving but it can do all sort of 3D work...

Currently i am making the dust collection system on the same machine out of MDF... I am also building all the parts of my second CNC machine with help of first one. And u belive my second machine will be made completly with MDF...

I am adding 4th axis i.e. rotary axis to this machine so that i can make round objects on this machine like statue of liberty or anything..

Now see one of the scrollsaw type work that i made in 30 minutes...it is 3D puzzle of butterfly...

Best of Luck

The purpose and intention of this thread is not to divert u (all the great people) from scrollsaw to CNC.

my apologies to all those who not like the homemade CNC work..

Dear Kevin,
First of all, I am a hobbiest and second there is a lil tiny artist hidden within me so i am exploring it.... I have relief carving softwares like DELCAM ARTCAM PRO, Vectric VCarve Pro etc....So this is the reason I never purchase artwork. U can say i never afford to purchase bcos my intentions currently is not to sell my artwork... i am experimenting...keep experimenting in this field... i have very little knowledge, just increasing it...

This is the same as if somebody give u scroll saw work and u show and tell the people it did by u... U will never do that and never proud of that... the same with me.....

G'day Khalid,
First, Welcome.
I have looked at a few home made CNC machines on the net, and did consider (for a NANOSECOND) building one.
But it may as well be brain surgery.

I admire people who, like you, can harness the benefits of a computer and put it to work, making nice things.

Looking forward to seeing some more of your work.

Khalid, let me welcome you to this great forum, you will meet a lot of good and very helpful people on this site. I like your work and I must say I have never seen a CNC router in action, Is it done with a duplicator pattern or computer file? ...MIKE
