Sorry to hear about the bad turn of events Steve. The lathes and saws will always be there and so will we. No hurry to impress us with your expertise as you usually do, we understand. Take care of the family and use the time to really think out what you want to create next. Cool clock! I'm impressed with the aggressive tooth design. Is that MDF? Andy

Sorry to hear about your challenges. Hope she get better quickly, so that you can get back to the tools (I know you are waiting most impatiently to do so.) Great dragon. Tor

Great Dragon Steve, Sorry about the mother in law. Some times the relatives can't be far enough away, and some times they can't be close enough! Maybe I should give MDF more consideration, with plywood prices going up. I'll bet some thing like this would take paint well and look great too.

Thanks sue yes it sure is MDF, it cuts great and does paint well too, use sanding sealer first though. It is the Welsh dragon from their flag, i played around with it a bit and decided to cut it, i may even paint it yet.

Not far enough, thought I was going to bust a gut there. Nice dragon and I thought that looked familiar, being of Welsh heritage. . . . and English, Irish, and Scotch.

How do you manage to hold the cricket bat, Guiness and whisky at the same time while running after those sheep?
