Default Teak bench

Thought you all might like to see what I've been up to at my new job. Here are a couple of pictures of a Teak bench I helped build. It is for the front porch on a house. It is 17 feet long, has over 200 pieces in it and weighs an awful lot! It comes apart in the middle at the column break. It took two of us seven days to make. The back rest slats were cut on a CNC overhead router, everything else was cut on a 12' table saw and a 12" up cut saw, drilled on a horizontal boring machine, dimensioned on the thickness planer and of coarse sanded with pneumatic RO sanders. Check out the background, big shop! Thanks for looking.

That is one nice bench! I really like teak outdoor furniture. It weathers so nice. The shop is impressive! It must be heaven working there. Hope you don't mind that I drooled a little on those pics.

Let me guess,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, you do that for a living don't you.

Great bench, fantastic work. I bet along with it being heavy, the teak is a bit on the pricey side too.

That's a beautiful shop they have you working in. You probably need a forklift to carry that bench around. My deck is pretty big, since I built it myself, so I'll take 3 please. Charge me the pine price, 0% interest and 120 month payment plan with free delivery.

And imagine all the wood he gets to take home instead of having them throw it into the dump!
