| I need to watch what I say with our two newly engaged daughters..
the non-stop wedding talk has begun...
I casually mentioned that maybe I could scroll saw some type of wedding favor for the guests, my idea was a hart with their names and date scrolled in it or a scrolled dove to go along with the candy almonds....
today, she said she would like me to scroll a set of 4 coasters for 175 to 200 guests, 800 coaster.....is she crazy...
what was I thinking?
I'm backing out of this idea right now!

| G'day Trout,
When you feel like opening your mouth, shove a beer in it, Tastes much better than a foot and by the sounds of it, much less work. LOL |

| Surgery? Will surgery remove the foot from your mouth or will it take dynamite?
I would also suggest rapidly packing up your work shop and moving to an undisclosed location. Possibly in the witness protection plan!

| Buy an endless cassette tape, record the word "Elope" on it and play it continuously. Have ladders outside their bedroom windows.

| I'd at least try and compromise with 1 coaster each. Then I'd scroll myself a router template and get busy. You make a good template and who knows, you might knock out a thousand before you know it. Stack drilling and stack routering.

| you guys are too funny... Luckily the daughter who is having her wedding this June never heard the offer so I safe on this one. her wedding will be the smaller of the two with about 75 guests....she's going with the approach, the less they spend, the more money they keep for a honeymoon...
luckily the daughter who want the 800 coasters is going to wait until May of 09, she wants to save up and add to her budget so I still have time to talk her out of it...
and Tom, you better watch what you offer, I might take you up on it...
Thanks for all the great suggestions...
