Default I'm back

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great holiday. Mine came & went so fast I didn't know it was here. 1 1/2 weeks before Christmas I got 2 orders for 17 baskets to be delivered in one week! Needless to say, I met the deadline, although tired, pockets heavier and then the bottom fell out. There were issues with the baby, he kept losing weight and got down to 11 pounds! Very light for a 6 month old. He is gaining weight again and seems to be doing much better. He's up to a whole 13 pounds, is more alert and active and acts like a 6 month old should. Still no explanation as to why. Mom fell and hurt her foot, not broken just tissue injury but she's in a soft cast. More work for me. Son's boss, age 52, died in his sleep last night & my sister-in-law collapsed at work! I'm afraid to answer my phone anymore. I still have my ornaments to mail out. I'm so sorry I didn't get them out sooner. I love looking at all the ones on my tree. Everyone asks why in the world do I have a kangaroo ornament on my tree! And I tell them it's from my special friend in Australia, why else would there be one on there? So now I am playing catch up and will probably catch up - next Christmas!

Betty

Crikey Betty,
If I thought I had problems they just disappeared.
Speaking for myself, Don't give the ornaments a second thought.
At least with that amount of #%$# hitting the fan in 2007, 2008 can only get better.

Glad the little bloke is looking up.

Besides all that happened, I hope you kept your chin up over Xmas and that Santa was kind.

Be well, and make sure that next year is better than this one. Hmm, scratch that.... Make it the best year ever.

Wow, Betty, glad you're still with us! Your post started off so good, then went downhill. But I've had days / weeks / months like that, too. Stuff happens. Really glad the little one's better.

Let me get in on what's becoming a group (((((((((((((((( HUG )))))))))))))))). Actually, I believe in hugs even when things aren't spiralling downward.

Hey, it'll be great getting your ornament! (I wondered what happened - glad I didn't pester!)

Keep your chin up. You gotta take care of the little one. And with everything else...don't worry. We all like Christmas in July too. lol
