| What's next? With the holiday craft fairs behind us - what's next on the avid scroller's list of things to do?
Some may have gotten some new cool toys/tools as presents to play with, and some may be taking in some of the "spring" woodshows.
I am inspired by the jewellery makers and the puzzle creators here, so I may play around with some of that... then of course there is a terrific bird intarsia in the spring issue of SSWC that Jannette and Bruce Worthington had done. Making that would make it feel more like spring around the northern parts here.
What's next on your list of things to cut?
Take care

| I have one of those wooden pizza paddles, for removing pizza's from the oven, anyway, it's from a friends new business and he wants me to scroll something musical in it, something related to the blues genre. I'm working on some inspiration or that perfect idea and that'll be my next project. Too many ideas, so little time. LOL

| Hey Andy, that would be cool! You've been working on all sorts of musical patterns no?
Please make sure to show us this when you're done. Sounds unique.
Take care

| Well Andy, for me, I have some new wood. and it is my plan to start some segmentation. first pattern from Neals book. the paint horse. mainly becouse it looks like my Horse LOL and the ram from Patrick Spielman &Kerry Shirts book. Neal did a great job on it for the quilt last year. his was 5"x5" HOHO. but mine will be way bigger. also, I have many projects from perculioar fretworks. and some more fretwork clocks. and vanity mirrors. yep me too. so much to cut not much time. I would also like to get a little more famialor to carving. Chip carving. and apply it to my gourds. also, also, also. what can I say. I am a wood, tool junkie. your friend Evie |

| Evie, have you ever tried to scroll anything on a gourd?
There are some amazing Gourd artists, and their creations are truely wonderful. The lacing effect at the tops of some make me think that a scrolled flower motif might give some shock and awe.
Take care

| Good question Toni. Scrolling-wise I'll probably do a couple of new portrait type things but I'm leaning more toward jewelry boxes. I have a learning curve to conquer with those small pieces and my fairs start up again in March so I don't have a lot of time to get over the curve. Other than that, I'll be building a new entertainment center for myself and starting on renovating the family room.

| it's been 5 day since I've touched the saw on one hand..
I'm starting to go throw new project withdraws...
and on the other hand...
I need to finish up a project that I started before Christmas, the girl wouldn't take her money back and I already spent it on the new planer so now I have to finish it up...
Pop's sent me a pattern a week or so ago to cut out, maybe I'll start that when I'm done with this Bass.
as for my next big project, I'm thinking about the trailer and backhoe for my dunp truck.....
