stevebuk, www.rockler.com has them and they do ship internationally. Hard to find on their site. Just type in 21550 in the "search".
Have a great 2008.

If you are adventuresome you can use a hole cutter ( No not a forstner bit ) and a drill press and make them. Or you can go on line and do a search for wooden wheels. Hope your Christmas was good.

G'day Steve,
I get mine from
http://www.craftparts.com/mall/lobby.asp
They are a little slow in posting, but the quality is good and the price is right even with the postage and dollar difference taken into account.
They work out costing about 20% or less than the cheapest I can find in Oz.
Hope you had a good one

If you're going to be cutting a lot of wheels, Steve, it may be more economical for you to consider acquiring a router and making your own. It's not that difficult. Alternatively, if you have a drill press you should be able to cut them with a holesaw, presuming you can find a holesaw which is the right size.

Hobbies of Dereham would be my first port of call in looking for manufactured wheels, but you will almost certainly find some in a Hobbycraft store too.

You could also use wooden balls as wheels, it depends on the design.

You could cut a wooden curtain pole (or thick dowelling) into slices to make discs which could be used as wheels.
