Unhappy End of a miracle

Somewhat numb right now, but wanted to let everyone know that my engagement has ended. Nothing bitter. Her health, doctors, oldest daughter, etc were 9 hrs away and she thought it best to stay there. She was living with me here in Round Rock and left just before Halloween to go to a dr appt and visit family......she never came back.

Charlie,Sorry to hear. The distance issue can be a tough one. Did you know that she was not returning or did she just not come back. Had a similar experience 20yrs ago. My heart goes out to you.
Take care
Dean

I have to say it this way in hopes that you get a chuckle but Sorry Charlie. Please do not take that in any way other than it was intended to get a chuckle out of you or to put a smile on your face. I certainly hate to hear of this happening and in that manner. If you need to bend an ear or lean on a shoulder I am here along with many others. I can certainly relate to you at this time of year. My previous marraige ended right ahead of Christmas. We are here for Ya. Ya Here!! Steve

Sorry to hear the "news" Charlie, but the fact that you are writing about your pain will help with the healing. Don't let it immobilize your talent. God bless.

Charlie, my heart goes out to you. Remember things happen for a reason and like everyone said we are here for you, She might have had a reason beyond her control for not returning, Only time will tell. Hoping the best for you

Default hey Charlie

maybe this will make you feel better....

remember the bass piece you had in SSW a couple issues back. I started it and got 5 small cuts done and then decided to put it away for another time...well that time has come...

Mrs.Trout had this shoe party a month or so ago and one of our daughters friend wanted to know if I could do some type of a bass for her husband for Christmas. at the time I was not taking any orders because I was into a few projects for myself and told her maybe after Christmas we could talk...

I just so happened to show her your bass that I started and told her that I could do something like this for $40....well our daughter got a Christmas card from her today and inside was $45 for the bass and want to know when she can pick it up...

do I send back the money or do I start cutting?
3 projects to finish by this weekend....
