Default About Minowevie

When I first joined SSW&C, I found it hard to believe that someone could have the spelling problems that Minowevie has. I would read her posts to see what she would misspell next. All of a sudden I realized that I wasn't reading her posts for spelling, but for content. I then started to realize that you don't have to know how to spell to be a very smart person. Evie, may I call you Evie?, is just that sort of person. She is not only smart, she borders on brilliant! Some of the tips and techniques that she has shared are amazing. I am not into traveling but there was one place I would have liked to visit and that is Australia. Now there are two places. If I ever got the traveling bug I would love to go to California and meet Evie. She is one awesome lady.

I second that. I have read her posts and they all give me good vibes. She seems to radiate kindness and a sweet personality.

Now Toni B on the other hand! LOL...I'm just kidding Toni!

Hear, Hear and so say all of us.

Evie always says the right thing, even if it's giving someone a piece of her mind

She is a very rare and precious person.

You all take a number now because she is coming to my house first. The bed is ready with little chocolates on the pillow. And the snow is just waiting for her to enjoy.

Evie to me is like a warm blanket. She is always so nice and comforting and rarely has something negative to say. You can always count on her for her not so good spelling (that I just love) and great wisdom. She never ceases to amaze me at all of the different projects she accomplishes. She is one talented lady that I truly admire!

The problem with the English language is the fact that it is composed of so many other languages. Over the centuries England seemed to be the location of choice for almost every nation in the world.
Each country had its own language and rules and England seemed to adopt them all.
Why else would you have a word like phonics, which isn't spelled like it sounds.
Evie has wonderful communication skills, she overcomes the limits of the English language very well. Her scrolling and life skills also shine through in her posts.
When I first saw the title of the thread I didn't know what to think. I was sure if someone was going to criticize her there would be an army of her friends standing in front of her.
Some people demand respect, others, like Evie, command it. I am proud to be one of Evie's many friends, and I agree with everyone here that we have all learned so much from her.
Even a few things about spelling.....

By the way Evie, the only reason my spelling is acceptable is because of spell checkers.

P.S. I once new a witch who used a spell checker to get her OWLS

I vote Evie for President......she could tell the "bad guys/gals" off and they wouldn't even know what hit them.
A truly remarkable woman, one of the reasons I'm so glad I came here.

I whole heartedly agree with all the above posts. Evie is a gem. Love the way she signs her posts with "your friend Evie".
