Default I've gotta say THIS

G'day All,
I just feel that I've gotta tell all the great people on this forum how I feel.

You folks will never really know what you have done for me.

There's a "Black Dog" that follows me around and has done so for quite a few years now. Some times it gets to nipping at may heels and this time of year it's usually right there, and has been snarling for a while now.

The good humour and friendliness of most of the people on the forum have helped immensely in keeping it at bay.

I thank you all, for all of the encouragement and kind comments and constructive criticism.

Well that's enough of that.

The ornament swap has meant a lot to me as well. Not only the good grace with which they are sent and received, but I have never seen another persons scrolling, with the exception of photos, before the swap.

Once again thank you all for being who you are.

Now I'll stop with the mush

John,

It's a pleasure having your great talent, here on the forum. And the time you take in your explanations of how-to steps. They have been great inspirations to a newbie like myself, and I thank you for all the sharing you have done here on this forum.

p.s. I like the aussie sense of humour too!

Well, I'm glad you have benefited from us as much as we have from you! May that 'black dog' lay down at your feet and take a long restful nap.

John
For me the feelings are mutual. I have learned, laughed, whimpered and sometimes scratched my head at this forum. All in all it sure is a great place, which wouldn't exist without the wonderful people who populate it. You sir are a "one of a kind" and I'm glad to be of you acquaintance. Keep the Black dog in check, keep the post coming and the humor with them.
Dave

John, I appreciate you too. You are part of what makes this forum a wonderful place. This forum has come to mean a great deal to me also. The learning and sharing not only the love of our hobby, but of ourselves is so great. You are a definite part of our family and I'm glad you are here.

JohnB we are all one of a kind, but together we are one hell of a bunch.
It's been a pleasure reading your posts, viewing your photos, and learning from your instructions. Hope we can all stay together for a very long time.
May your "black dog", whatever pedigree he is, keep himself at bay........

Where would we be without a sense of humour & sense of perspective John?

It could be worse mate...you could be in England where currently it goes dark at 4 in the afternoon & is cold, grey & rainy most of the time!

Living in Britain requires a sense of humour...& often a stiff drink! We didn't even have a summer this year it just rained instead...enough of my whinging.
