Default What a gift

Hi guys. I got a great Gift yesterday. I was at the dog pond , to get 2 of my kitties fixed yesterday. and while waiting for them to wake up. a girl came in with 2 beautifull rotwhilers. so yes I took one home. what a gift. she is only 1 year old. with all shots, fixed, and so well trained. the ladys boyfriend left her. and with 5 rots. gosh. they are purbread Germon, black heads. I just can't believe how good she is. and I found a home for one more today. I would have taken her too. but she was pretty agressive. dang. I feel so lucky. can't believe how nice she is. she bondeded with the horses, and birds already. and plays ball. loves kids. and my old Aussie. is happy too. just wonted to shar this. Xmas early. I will show pictures later.
your friend Evie
Ps. I got my new ATV also. so I am haveing fun now.

Glad to hear you found yourself such a wonderful pet. Isn't it just great when things like this happen! And she gets along with all your other pets, it's like it was meant to be! Congratulations!

G'day Evie,
Good on you for getting a pup from the pound.
So you have one of us hidden on you property
In OZ, they are known as Blue heelers, that is if they're a cattle dog.

Missed you on the forum for a couple of days so guessed you had better things to do, like play with a quad.

Have fun

Your mate

A good pet is wonderful to have. Hope she continues to be a wonderful pet for years to come.

thanks John. I have a Astrailion sheep dog. they are alittle differant than a healer. they don't heal. just hit the sheep on the run. on the rear. knocking them down on the run. tripping them so to speak. a healer. bites the heals of the prey. bringing them down that way. maybe I am roung. but this is what I understand. sorry about the spelling. the rot heads. the prey. the Aussie, is more like the border collie. but bigger. an more calm. I wonted a benese mountain dog. but thats about $1200. at a cheap price. but I am happy about this find. and new family memmber. she is so sweat. they are all great. your friend Evie

PS. yes I have to confess. I have been getting used to my new quad. it is a polaris. 500. fuil injection. and alot of bike for me. but I am having fun. I just stay off the trodal, and no problem. to fun. it does have the rpms. for sure. rumm rumm. buzz buzz.

G'day Evie,
I stand corrected
I've never seen an "Australian Sheep Dog" in the flesh but I do know what you are talking about.
When we had the farm we used Kelpies as sheep dogs and Bluey's as cattle dogs. You are right about them nipping the heels of the cattle to keep them in line.

Kelpies are a ball of energy and very much a one person dog. They are very loyal and make great pets and family dogs, but if you live in town you have to be prepared to exercise them a lot or they will keep getting in strife.

We currently have 2 dogs, One is a pure bread female Rough Collie tricolour (Chelsea) and the other is a little fat Bluey (Wazza), crossed with a rat

Glad your having fun on that Quad

Here are a couple of pics of the Ferals , including my little Grandson

Hey good for you! I can't wait to get some pets of my own, but my apartment charges up the wazoo for it. I guess I'll wait until I move somewhere more lenient.
