Default Tor brought this up in another thread.

Tor said:
Oops, guess I ought to have been more specific. I was referring to this "Junior member" under your name, rather than your signature. That I enjoy, along with many other great signatures here.

I feel I am a junior member of this forum. I have only been a member since August. In my book that constitutes a junior member. However I might be considered a "senior member" of the scroll saw community........LOL

Reason for edit: Changed the title

Dave, the "Junior Member" that appears under your name is your user title. It is automatic, and when you get to a certain number of posts (I'm not sure what it is) the title will change to "Senior Member". You can change it by editing your profile. There is a spot for a custome title.

uh yea...I think he surpassed that long ago Marsha and he changed it back to say junior member on purpose. Sorry I couldn't catch up with you last weekend in Hamilton too...had to do a quick run in and out for a funeral and speed visit to the exotic wood store. Next time, I'll be sure and let you know when I'm around.

I'm not sure the reasoning with the changing to junior member really...I think it's caused by the smell in Jersey. Every mile, a new terrifying smell...what's up with that???

Jeff
I did change it back. I didn't think I deserved to be a senior member with so little time on the forum. I had no idea it was tied into the amount of posts made on the forum. How about just "member"?
As to the smells in New Jersey..........the prevailing winds come from the west...........so.......the smells might be coming from Michigan!LOL
In this part of NJ the air is actually clean and fresh. If however you were near, Secaucus, Bayonne or Elizabeth that could be a different story, chemical plants, refineries and heavy industry.

Smell is surely not coming from here. We have no industry or jobs left in this state. We are waiting and praying for Robin Hood to come save the day.

I used to drive that NJ turnpike, and man that smell is bad. I still have my Port Elizabeth and Bayonne dock cards.

Ah, now I understand what happened. I had wondered if you had been playing with other titles, and tried to return to the default, but mistakenly entered it as a custom title which stuck. You are certainly a valuable member of the community here.

Jeff
Sorry for the tough times there.
I'm a seasonal truck driver May through October. I go to Elizabeth and Jersey City quit often, you are right about the smell. Like I said, refineries, chemical plants and industry........but people do have jobs.
Routes 1 & 9, oh what a joy to drive.......if you like unbelievable traffic congestion, pot holes, traffic congestion, drivers who purchased their licenses from Walmart and traffic congestion.
I live on the west side of the state, as far from all that crap as you can be and still be in N.J. You probably have driven route 80 through Delaware Water Gap. Now there is a beautiful part of the state. About 15 miles from my house.
