| Up and At'em my Yankee mates G'day all,
Time to do 20 push-ups, 2 fast laps around the block, drink a couple of litres of water and test that belt.
If it's to tight repeat above, until it fits then into the shed, Christmas gifts are a-waiting hidden inside that piece of timber near your saw.
Hope you all had a great day. |

Do you celebrate Thanksgiving ???? | Heh, now I realise it was a post Thanksgiving message!
All I know about Thanksgiving is that alot of food is consumed, including turkey.
I have got a bit of a belly on me nonetheless, so I'll heed your advice re the exercise! |

Chris ![013[1]23](http://www.scrollsawer.com/forum/images/smilies/013[1]23.gif) | G'day Chris,
We changed currency in 1966, and then followed on with measurements some time later.
I think it must have been about 1971 - 72.
It is so much easier with measurements than the old imperial, but even after all this time, I still picture sizes in inches and feet. And cars that use so many litres per 100kms mean Jack to me, I still think in terms of Miles per gallon.
We changed over during the 2nd year of my apprenticeship.
You get strange looks from young blokes when you ask them to knock an inch of that, or just move this a couple of feet |
