Default An example of British Humor and the USA's SubPrime Mess.

Way O.T.:
Long story, even for my standards, as to how I came by the following link to a video:

So, an example of humor in the UK at the expense of the USA?
A touch of the dry wit humor, one might conclude, yes?
<hrumph, hrumph>

"At Last! An Analyst who explains in simple English exactly what this Sub-Prime mess is, and what must be done to fix it."

(Aside: This will take some time to load if you have a dial up Internet connection.)

If you find that amusing, there's loads more stuff just like it on YouTube. Just search against "Bremner, Bird and Fortune", the name of the satirical television progamme which they appear on.

More topical British humor is available free as a podcast from BBC Radio 4 - I love The News Quiz but it's not recommended for supporters of the current White House administration! It helps if you keep a watching brief on UK news stories (and don't take them too seriously, even if everyone else does).

Coming back to the Sub Prime Mortgage mess, have a look at what happened to the British Northern Rock Bank and how the Governor of the Bank of England immediately attacked the new Prime Minister for preventing the Bank of England from intervening. It's an even more fascinating situation if you watch the video The Money Masters before!

Do you realize that YouTube is a good source for viruses?
