Default First Craft Show Jitters

Well, tomorrow is the day. Got my 'booth' all set up. I didn't have all that much inventory but went for it anyway. As it turned out, my stuff filled the table top and the vertical stand I made.

As I was getting ready to leave, someone (church member or vendor, don't know) bought one of the smaller pieces. Hope that's a good sign and not the ONLY sign!

Pic shows my set up... Wish me luck!

G'day Mike,
Nice set up. Not to cluttered and everything visible.
Good luck and may the God of cash smile upon you

Good Luck Mike!
Nothing to be nervous about except maybe selling everything.
My table top ornament tree has grown into a 6' floor model with about 100 ornaments on it.

Lightbulb Photo portfolio

I just thought of something. Bring along a portfolio of some of your work that you didn't bring along with you. You may not have a lot with you, but if they have something to look through you may get more orders.

I have an idea that once people see the portrait of the little girl, you'll be getting some special orders.

Good luck and have fun.

Default Suggestion

Mike, just a quick suggestion. If you have a medium to dark blue table cloth or even a black one it will help you work stand out on the table. You could also put a couple different size boxes under the table cloth to give it a tier look.

GOOD LUCK.

Not a portfolio but I have a small catalog of some of the patterns I have. Bringing some of my bought pattern books, too.

Hi Mike, good luck at the show. I do agree with putting a dark solid color table cloth. I know that it made a world of difference on my display. One thing that did make a big difference for me was to put my custom portraits and photos right out in front. I was getting a lot of people just walking by but those portraits caught their eye and they would stop and look. Again Good Luck, Steve
