| Facebook I am curious to know how many members here are on Facebook? I friend first invited me, and then some family decided to go on there too. Some can't see a point to it, but I suppose if you have a big family or group - it is a wonderful way to stay in touch and check in with each other.
I've reconnected with some school friends, not many but then that is because I don't wish to spend THAT much time there... but the potential is amazing.
So, if you folks out there who have scrolling groups you might want to check out Facebook to keep in touch.... or perhaps we start one for the active members on here?
Take care

| I became a member on facebook to keep in touch with family that lives in Ontario. This way I can post pictures for them to see my family and what is going on here. You can create as many photo albums as you like without the worry of running out of space. I think you can only put a certain number of pictures in an album but are entitled to as many albums as you want. I have an album just of my scrolling stuff for my family to see.

| My son is a member I think. But I don't know anything about Facebook. Do you need to be invited to individuals "books"?? Or is it an open forum like "my space"??

Theresa | Theresa, as far as I understand you can go to Facebook ( www.facebook.com) and start a profile of your own. It's a wonderful way to keep in touch with friends and family without having to type it all over again kind of thing. But, as with all things related to the internet... caution on what you should post is advised.
The nice thing is that you have to approve your friends and have some levels of security on what they are allowed to view in your Facebook.
Take care

| I am a member of facebook so I can keep in touch with friends that are far away. I am not a chat freak so I don't go on often.

| Facebook A friend of mine invited me to be "her friend" on facebook. Once I was part of it all, I found my youngest two children were too. I have never spoken to the kids as much as since I became a member. I think they go to "chat" to their pals and are reminded of me and send me regular little messages. Because they also post photographs and the like, I can keep up to date with what they are doing, although I have had the odd derogatory comment such as "mother, how on earth can I keep my street cred, if you say things like that?". I would advise anyone to join, it can't harm and one really old friend managed to find me this way, too.

| Toni, I am not on facebook but I know my daughter is. I have no opinion either way. My problem is between my real job, my home chores, being on the board of my HOA and working in the shop I barely have time to check the 2 message boards I am active in.... |
