| Hi Steve, I have been to your sight. nice. correct me if I am roung, but your wife sews too. the construction is done , with a stirafome ball. in the ole days, with fabric, or scrapts or cotton, or even any waist, shaped into a ball, rolled around to make it round, then raped with yarn, then thread, then divided. then stitched into a pattern. the tamari is a game ball. somewhat like a hackie sack. and latter stitched into. some awsome embroidery .
as you know, the chinese folks are very talented, and the wifes or even husbonds would embroider lots of wonderfull patterns as a contest. just like anything. one trying to outdo the other. and alot of patterns where developed.
for me this is a great pastime, in a car, travaling, it is easy to stitch. once you understand the divisions. your friend Evie

| Wow! I am definately glad I asked. Thanks for sharing. I was really curious after we talked and my curiousity has been satisfied. Those are impressive. Do you turn your own stands to display them too? I agree with Mike, you are indeed a woman of many talents.
