Hi guys. I tried something today, and was pleasantly surprized. being a retired private house keeper. I know, that , to get ink out of things, you use rubbing alcohol. and, to help a permanit marker,to come back , dip it in rubbing alcohol. Soooo. I tryed this on my copy machine ink today. I was worryed it would ruin something, but mmmmm that doesn't stop me much. I haven't used my copy machine in about 4 months. and I just put new ink in, drats. it dryed up. so I decided to try the alcohol thing. put my ink cartradges. in a small bowl. bottom down. and put some rubbing alcohol in about 1/8" deep. let it wick up. and alittle more. for it sucked it up fast. then let it set, for about 3 hours. would you believe, when i tryed it. it printed out just great. so I thought i would shar this. warrning, don't try this, if you think it will hurt your copy machine. I printed a big picture, and 2 pages of draft. worked great. your friend Evie I would be interested in any other methed you might use. |

That sounds like a good idea and I will have to try that the next time my cartridge acts like it dried up. Thanks, john |
