Today I was at the base mall and I passed a fella who had set-up shop in the main hallway. He had a nice booth going with some quality products for sale. After a brief chat I had asked him if he had ever seen our little forum here and he didn't know it existed. I gave him the web address and he appeared exicited about checking us out. It was good talking to this guy (I didn't catch his name) and hopefully he finds us on the internet. With all that I got to thinking. Is there anyway that the powers to be could set up a web based "business card" for our forum that we can print out keep in our wallets and pass onto others that we meet from time to time? What better way to solicite new members and generate further interest in our hobby. I have now officially filled my "thinking outside the box" quota for the year. Todd

Hi Todd, How have you been? I like your idea and hope that is something that can be done. Steve

You could have also grabbed the opportunity to begin a woodworking or scrollsaw club on the base!

Fred I live roughly 50 miles from the base, after spending all day there I just want to get away and head home. I do however offer my assistance to anyone wishing to start up scrolling, generally I tell folks to check the forum out first, hence the printable business card idea. Steve I am doing good buddy thanks for asking. The football team I was coaching finished up on Sunday for the season...practice 5 days a week and games on Sundays kept me busy for the past 2+ months. This weekend I knock the dust of the tools and get back to cutting. Thanks Evie...it only happens 1 or twice a year.
