Default Black Monday

Yesterday was a very hard day for us. We had to get our german sheppard euthanized. He had a long a good life but the back legs were starting to go. He was starting to be in pain. So the decision was taken and it was very hard to let go. We stayed with him until the end.
Thanks for the good times Skipper.
Diane

I'm sorry to hear about your loss Diane.
Many times when we hear of someone loosing a beloved pet we hurry to tell that person it was necessary, or share a similar experience of our own.

I won't do that.
The love of an animal is dear. It shouldn't be lessened by any words.

I hope you have many wonderful memories that will help you through this week and the next.... take care.

Toni

I am very sorry about your dog. I had to make that choice a couple of years ago with my border collie "Odie" He was 18 years old. The same vet that gave him his first shots, was the vet that euthanized, it even brought a tear to his eye. It was Odie that inspired the saying under my web name. And yes... all dogs do go the heaven.

Diane:

My heart goes out to you. It is always hard to loose a 4 legged member of the family.

Time will lessen the pain, not the memory.

Diane,
My heart goes out to you for your loss. It is never easy losing a loved one, especially one that has been so loyal to you. Pets make us remember to enjoy every minute we have on this earth and to care for them the same way they show their affection to us.

Take care,
John

I'm so sorry Diane, it is tough to loose afriend.
I've lost friends like that and we now have a Golden that will soon be 12.
