Default Nead some answers Plese

I have a question for one and all:

I am a member of a society called BC Wooden Toy Makers Society Web site www3.telus.net/toymakers
As the title states we make wooden toys that are given to Surrey hospital and at Christmas we give some to the Food Bank to hand out to the children.

My question:

What can we make for Mom that would put a small on her face at this time of the year? Has any one got some ideas of what some one can make (out of wood??) or just that can be made in bulk with out to much trouble?

Thanks for your reply

Please I could use some help with this post your answers hear or email me

"Jesus is the reason for the season". How about Christmas ornaments with the word "Hope" or "Love" or "Faith" as the theme?

Scrolled picture frames for them to show off pictures of their children! Trivets for the kitchen? Simple nick nack shelves? Dale

I agree with Evie, the fact that you are giving the children something is the best gift of all for the Mother's. No coaster or inspirational saying will do as much for "mom" as watching a child play.

Depending on what you are making for the children, i.e., puzzles, you may already be giving "mom" the precious gift of time.

Take care
Toni

Hi Chris, welcome to the forum. I am in Chilliwack and also a member of the society.
I like the picture frame idea. There are also kechains, organizers, maybe a scrapbook cover or some wooden ornaments.
I understand Toni and Evies points of view but I also know that sometimes it just feels good to give that little extra.
