Default Wild week!!

Good morning all! I'm behind in the posts this week! My husband, Kent was scheduled for knee surgery on Wednesday the 19th. We had prepared for this by having all housework done, scheduled time off from my job, lawn mowed, etc. What I had not prepared for was my 24 year old son, Tim to call and ask me "Have I had my appendix out?"!! I got that call Tuesday morning at 7:00 am as he was driving himself to the hospital. It turned out it had ruptured so they started him on antibiotics while they waited for a surgery room.

I live 5 1/2 hours away and he doesn't have anyone else around him!! It was a tough decision but I am in Kansas City with my son, leaving my husband alone! We have friends that are helping him out. I plan to go home tomorrow and take care of Kent who probably needs me more at this point!! It's surprising how a 24 year old can bounce back!! What are the odds of this happening?!?!?! Take care all!

Good heavens Cutting Cathy talk about being torn between 2 loves.....I think you made the right decision. Ruptured appendix can be very serious. God speed both in their recovery

May both your Husband and Son recover quickly, and your life turn to more enjoyable times.
