Default Need Immediate Answer & Help

Is there anyone near St. Joseph Hospital, St. Paul, MN? My mother suffered a fall on her visit to my niece FOUR DAYS AGO and they just decided to get her to the hospital. She has a subdural hematoma & is being transferred to St. Joseph's for immediate neurosurgery. Anyone know anything about the hosptial? Also, are there any descent hotels in the area? I will be flying up there in a few days, after my brother leaves, & need a place to stay. I refuse to stay with the relatives that didn't get her treatment.

I know you guys will come through for me. More than my relatives did for my mother.

Betty

My brother made it to MN without too much trouble. Seems this hosptial is top notch. My mother is doing quite well & is improving by the hour. Her first words to my brother were "Stephen, get me out of here I want to go home!" At least she remembers everyone's name but doesn't remember why she is in there. Hopefully, this won't be as long a recovery as they were thinking. We'll know more on Monday after my brother talks to the dr & social worker. I'll be going up after that, depending on when they are moving mom & where to.

That sounds like a good report, Betty. Glad to hear it! IMHO, "I want to go home" is most always a good sign, even if a bit of confusion goes along with it.

Thinking of you. Prayers to all of you.
