|  Plywood shortage? I was getting ready to order some wood and see that Sloan's is announcing a world-wide shortage of Baltic and Finland Birch Plywood. Haven't seen any similar announcements at other sites. Sloan has increased pricing (EX 1/8" 12x12 was $1.00, now is $1.55). If you can get it at normal pricing, you might want to stock up now.

 | Yes Mike, this was brought up about 3 months agom, and yes, the price of the Baltic and finnish is going up up up. From my supplier the price of the 1/8th inch Baltic Birch sheets (5 ft by 5 ft) went up 30% from march to the end of July > I havent checked the price now, but Im sure its up even more! Dale |

| This site (http://www.woodworkerssource.net/) is still advertizing a 12x12 BB for $1. Ordered 32 plus some hardwood. First order with them so I hope it works out okay.
