Default Foot Switch

After 20+ years of scrolling I broke down and bought a foot switch.
I just went out and hooked it up, it is going to take awhile to get use to it. I can see that it will be a lot better with it.
I'm use to moving my feet around and I shut off the saw every minute or so.

Hay Bob. how did you ever live without one. it is so awesome. lift foot. saw stopes. but just remmber, its not a gass pettlale. it wont go faster. only the speed, you have your gadg set at. you can still move your feet around. but not off the foot switch. if you need to stand up. just move it where you need to have it. I have even used mine, taped to the side, and use my knee, it will save your switch to your saw. Great. Evie

Bob, I use the other one that you step on to start the saw and then step on it again to stop the saw. I also have it mounted at knee heighth and just bump it with my knee. I stand while sawing.

Foot pedals are great. If you do a lot of long cuts as well, it can be nice to have a toggle switch you can lock the saw on with as well. This requires wiring you do yourself, however, and I have explained how to do this before.

I use a surge protector mounted to the front of the table that my saw is on. I also have the Mag light plugged in to it so when the saw is off the light is off also. Works for me.
