Default Local clubs

I would like to see about finding a scroll saw club in the Covington, Washington or Kent, Washington area to join. I am a novice scroller and interested in doing more. If anyone has any contact info I would appreciate it. Thanks Richard Case

Richard,
Try Scrollsaw Association of the World, www.saw-online.com
Also try Woodworking clubs in your area, they may have members that do scroll sawing.
Talk to woodworking stores close by, they may know the clubs in your area.

There is the Evergreen Woodworkers Guild. They meet at the Edgewood Community Church on the second Monday of each month. The members are not only scrollers, but also turners, cabinet makers, and general woodworkers. Membership gets you a 10% discount at Rockler, Woodcraft, and Crosscut Hardwoods, among others. Every month they have a program topic that's usually pretty interesting.

I used to go every meeting, but since I now have a job in downtown Seattle, I'm unable to get there . However, they're a great group; both informative and supportive.
