| Wildwood Designs I haven't seen anything written on here in a while about Wildwood Designs. Last I heard everyone was having problems with their orders. Things backordered for unseemly amounts of time, wrong products shipped, terrible customer service, etc. I had placed two orders around that time and had issues with both of them.
Since then I haven't seen anything about them. I've not ordered anything from them. Money's been tight actually so I haven't placed orders with anyone. Wednesday Aug 1, I placed an order. I've been needing a 4" clock insert and haven't seen any from any other company. So I finally bit the bullet and placed an order with them. I ordered the insert and a couple of wooden parts. Nothing big or expensive. A very small order.
Lo and Behold, the order arrived at my house today Aug 4! Even more astonishing was that it was 100% correct!
I wanted to give them Kudos and see if anyone else has had positive experiences lately with them. If so, these positive experiences need to be shared so that we can begin to rebuild some trust in what was once an excellent company and encourage them to be one again. |

| I called in an order from Wildwood Designs a few weeks ago.
Everything went well, and I got what I ordered in about 7 business days.
In the order I got a Wildwood Designs and a Cherry Tree catalog.
I noticed they both have the same 800 number.

| Wildwood and Cherry Tree They are owned by the same person/people. Have been since before they were bought out and were in Richland Center. The previous owners had much more business sense than the present owners. Which is a shame because they do have quality merchandise and an extremely varied inventory. I haven't ordered anything from them for over a year, and don't know when I may take another chance with them. My problems also started with not getting catalogs from them and escalated from there!

| I recently placed a small order with them, also wary of the problems you mentioned. A couple days after I placed the order I got a call from their warehouse guy. He called to tell me that they didn't have the clock insert I specified in stock, but that he could replace it with a similar one. I called him back and talked to him for a couple minutes. He said, apologetically, that their computer inventory count was off and while I had gotten e-mail confirmation that my order was in stock, when he went to pick it, he discovered the clock I ordered was not in stock.
I thought the effort the guy made to contact me and honestly explain the problem was notable. I've worked in inventory control, so I understand how these problems occur and told him so. He thanked me for my patience and I told him to substitute another clock style. I still received my order within a week.
I hope this is an indication that Wildwood is getting their act together. They are too valuable a resource for plans and supplies for us scrollers to lose.

| I ordered from them a while back and received the wrong pattern. When we contacted them, they immediately fixed the problem and sent the corrected order with free shipping. I received good custumer service and a prompt response. I would order from them again.

| Glad to hear they are getting their act together since the change of management.
I sent in an order of parts just last week to another supplier because I didn't want to take another chance of getting the stupid screwups I had got from them in my previous three or four orders from them .
I will follow topics like this and if they are more than 50% favorable for the next six months or so I might take a chance with them again and place an order.
If theycontinue with their policy of UPS shipping only and no postal service to my P O box in Idaho I will never order from them again.

| That's why I put in such a small order. I didn't want to tie up a lot of money in product that I wouldn't receive for 3 or 4 weeks due to things being wrong and having to be corrected. I will try another order with them just as small and see how things go later.
And William, surprisingly my order came US Postal.
Glad to hear some others are having a good experience with them again. Hopefully they will continue to improve. |

| How about orders to Canada ? Any Canadians ordering from them lately ? How was the service and S/H ? .
Why I ask , is that a member of my WWF site ordered just paper patterns several months ago and was told that the price of the patterns would be as listed in their site and some of them would be put on back order but the S/H to Canada would be over $60.00. No . . that is not a typo. It was over sixty dollars for S/H on top of the price of the patterns. If I recall correctly I think it was $67.00
Of course he canceled his order and politely told them what they could do with their patterns.
On the last order of parts I got from them about six or eight months ago they were going on and on about the crazy high price of shipping to a Canadian address and when I finally got it across to them that I could use my Canadian Credit card for payment and they could send it to my US post box just over the border like they always had done in the past they said they could only ship to a UPS address in Idaho. It took four days to process the order and another seven days to arrive by UPS with a lot higher S/H charge than USPS charges and on top of that I had to pay an extra $5.00 "handling" charge for the UPS people to hand it to me.
With the previous owners I used to get my orders processed in a day or so of phoning them and they arrived in another three days by USPS priority post and there is no "handling" fee whatsoever to pick up a parcel at the post office.
Sure hope they have changed their ways since then or they will be losing all their Canadian business.
