Default Good fishing.....

I hate graduation time!
being that I work for a school district, I've been so busy this last month that I haven't had time to get in my shop. I still have an unfinished rocking horse and new air filtration system to try out....

now that school is out things have finally calmed down just long enough to sneak away for a fishing trip this last weekend with 5 other couple from our fishing group..

Saturday, we couldn't of asked for better fishing. we caught 15 Kokanee and keep 10 in less than 3 hours...6 of them were over 16 inches and that a nice fish for California...

Hi Trout, look as if it was a great trip. It also looked like that air filter system was working fine. I did not see any dust at all in those photos. Steve

Default Bad burn....

it was 6 o'clock on Saturday and as we were getting things ready for dinner the BBQ decided that it wanted to attack me....

there was a retaining wall behind the camp with some steep steps and as I started to go up them to take some pictures I some how slip and as I was falling I so happened to grab the little smoky Joe BBQ and it fell on my arm....and NO it wasn't due to Jack Daniel's!

one of the other wifes drove Mrs.T and I to the emergency room.
3 1/2 hours later we were back at camp ready to resume the party, we were cutting it pretty close because they close the gates at 10 and we got there at 9:55...

I was ready for Jack now!

this was Sunday when we got home....
you don't want to see what it looks like now....and can you belive that it still doesn't hurt!

it will be awhile before I get to finish Caleb's rocking Horse

Well my mum used to always say "Where there's no sense there's no feeling!"

Seriously that looks like a nasty burn - hope it heals up ok for you soon..

Fishing trip looked fun otherwise though ..

Ouch, glad that you don't hurt because it looks painful. Hope that heals quickly. Keep the sawdust out of that. Steve

Default one last picture...

this was our camp....you see the people under the first canapy, can you belive their sitting next to an air conditioner...

I'm hanging in there and staying on top of it.....
getting burned was the last thing I needed to do because being off work liked the doctor wanted wasn't an option for me. We are closing one of our schools and I'm the guy who has to move all the teachers out and move all the other stuff back in! so I just have to grin and bear it and be carefull, they did give me a sub to be my right hand...

I have one chance at a one week vacation in July and we are going back to the same lake..

Looks great Trout. You'll have forgotten about the burn by vacation time, or almost. We should have a scroller reunion there next summer.
