| Water levels still on the rise. Not sure how many people outside of British Columbia are aware of the water levels here but we had an extremely high snow pack this year, in some spots 200% above the norm.
Many rivers are starting to swell
There are some good photos on the CBC news website.
There is some localized flooding here but most of it is outside the dykes.
Water is expected to peak here this weekend around 7 to 7.5 metres.
The dykes are 8.6 metres so we have lots of free board.
I am moving my woodworking books and patterns to the top floor though
Better safe than soggy. That's what I always say.

| Thanks Steve, Not too worried just yet.
Worse case scenario, I get in my tent trailer and move to high ground for a couple of weeks.
There is only my workshop, one bedroom and the laundry room in the basement. Water will not go higher than that.

| Saw a guy on the news last night swimming down the road. I do hope that the water does not flood your workshop. Keep us informed.

| If the worst comes to the worst, Carl, you could always scale up your Noah's Ark pattern .
Seriously, I hope you manage to get by okay. Keep us informed.

| Carl, that's some pretty serious flooding. When I saw the news report last night I wondered if any of our friends would be affected by it. Please be extremely cautious as Daryl said flooding can be very unpredictable.
Be Safe, my thoughts are with you.

| Thanks everyone. I havent even got the trailer out from winter yet Bill
I did pick up a couple of adjustable flagpole holders that I am mounting on the side to suport the awning though.
I think I will send an email out to everyone on the interent to save those little silica gel packs from their electronics......
Er never mind.... a silly idea
