Default I'm confused ..

OK nothing new there .. but how come I'm seeing the carving board messages too when I click on New Posts ? And the carving board messages seem to date mainly from 2004?

I don't know, I noticed it also. I just clicked the button on the right to close that section.

I'm thinking that this being a long weekend there is someone somewhere that didn't want us to get bored. So,,,they tossed some reading material our way.
Make sense???

I am more confused today then I was yesterday. I am at work, and when I came on the site there is nothing about carving showing up on the forum. One thing different between yesterday and today is, yesterday I had some computer problems on my home computer following a bad storm we had through the night, so I had to log back onto the forum, something I rarely do because I never log off. Today when I got to work I did not need to log onto the sight. I wonder if this is happening when you log out and then back on.
Well I think I'll answer my own question, I'll log out and back on here at work and see what happens.
Back in a minute

I never have to log in here at home. Windows remembers my password and logs me in. I also don't share a computer, so don't need to worry about any of that.

I don't normally log in and out either, but because of a computer problem yesterday, I had no choice.
Today at work I logged out and in to see if things changed when I did. They definitely changed.
When I logged back in I see the message board first page is divided into 3 sections
1 - Magazine and Members
2 - Carving
3 - Scroll Saw.
You can close the sections by clicking on the small arrow on the right of the screen.
I'm sure when BobD gets back to work tomorrow, he will explain what's going on.
However, I do like Dragon's answer.

Glad that I read all those posts fast. I might have missed out on something.
