Default I'm Back

I got home yesterday after 12 hours of travel time. I'm just trying to get caught up on a week's worth of postings. To summarize my trip, the food was excellent. I was pulled out of line in the UK and frisked, my luggage didn't arrive in Italy with me and the dollar is currently quite weak against the Euro. I took tons of pics with a few that will be showing up in the not-too-distant future as patterns. I stayed in Desenzano, Italy for 3 nights and Versailles, France for 2 nights. I didn't have much time in France for pics but did get quite a few in Italy. The hotel (Hotel de France) I stayed at in France was originally Cobert's home who was quite influential during Louis XVI's reign. The people I met everywhere were very friendly and all in all it was quite an experience. I'm disappointed to say that my French pronounciation is terrible. After hearing it spoken I decided to stick to English. I was happy to be able to understand most of what was being said though. I have to work more on my speaking skills. I'll probably do that by having our meetings in French over the phone in the future. I also plan to learn Italian as my newest customer is located in Italy.
If you've e-mailed me or are waiting for an order, I beg your patience as I have quite a bit to catch up on which I will be doing over the next couple of days.

Hi Kevin,

Nice to hear that you had a good trip.
Tell me about the Euro, it sure cost a lot more to get merchandise from Germany.
Have a nice Memorial Day.

Mike

Again welcome back Kevin, glad you had a good trip. Spent 2 nights in Naples courtesy of Naval Air Reserve several years ago. Really enjoyed it.

Wow, that's a nice room you had in France - each one of your guests had their own little table to sit at. lol

Sounds like a great time. Glad you got to stay a couple of days in each city - better than 8 cities in 3 days or whatever. I hope to make it to Europe one of these years.

That's a classy looking dining room there, Kevin. Certainly beats Tim Horton's .. I bet those chandeliers are a b**ger to dust though ..
