Default Virginia Tech Shooting

I know this is not the place for current events and news...many people come here to avoid that. But I did want to post a note here sending positive thoughts and energy to the families and friends of the affected students.

Wow, I didn't even know this had happened Bob. It may take more than postive thoughts to help those affected, what a waste of life.

I also want to send out prayers and positive thoughts to tall the friends and family or anyone else who has lost loved ones. I looked back on my post, and it seemed like I was writing an article for the main-stream media. That was totally not my intention; my heart and thoughts go out to everyone who has lost a loved one!

For me, this event just made me think of all the lives we touch...and how we can be touched by far away events.

One of the carvers on the other board has two kids as VA Tech...his daughter was in the classroom next to the shooting...so it really made me think.

I'm not too far removed from my college experience...was looking at old memorabelia from college last night, in fact...so this really hits close to home for me...

Thanks for listening.

Bob

Amen to that, Bob. Not much anyone can say more.
Thanks for posting it.

I have no problem with you posting your comments, Bob. For someone not in their situaton I think it's almost imposible to appreciate what the families of the victims must be going through but my heart goes out to them. I can only echo what Todd said - what an apalling waste of life..

It is such a sad tragedy. I can't believe it happened. Didn't the news say there was warning of it or something? Oh, what a shame. If any of you knew someone or a family at loss, please accept my condolences.

Senseless and tragic. I pray for the families whose lives were shattered today and that the injured recover.
