I recently picked up a gross (144 or 12 dozen) of FD blades from Mike and paid about $25 (I think) with no shipping costs. Of course that may not be the case since you aren't in the US, but it's worth checking out.

Looks like a ripoff to me. That's high price for any blades. The first blades I ever bought were a mix of Olsons. I didn't know any better and ended up with some I'll never use, also at too high a price. Although, I still use Olsons for quite a bit of my scrolling, there are less expensive places to buy them.

I deal with Mike and he is very good. He has helped me a lot in choice of blade. His prices are good with no shipping. You can't beat the service.
Give it a try.

Steve ,

I'd agree with everyone on here about Mike Moorlach's prompt and efficient service. I'd personally much rather buy from him than someone I don't know on EBay, even if the prices were the same.

I'd doubt whether Mikes no shipping applies utside N America, but I'd be surprised if the shipping costs very much anyhow - even sending airmail, since I'd guess they'd go lettermail, not as a package/parcel.

You can't beat Mike's prompt and efficient service. I usually get my blades in 2 days.

I'm jealous. It usually takes me 3 days to get my Olson blades from Sloan's Woodshop or my Pegas blades from Ben's Scroll Saw. Actually, it seems suppliers from any of the name brand blades offer great customer service.
