Default Surgery

Hi all,

Well this is it, tomorrow (Monday) is surgery day for me. I've been on 3 weeks of liquid protein diet, and have lost a little over 14 pounds so far. So my liver should have shrunk enough to give the suregeon room to work in order to install the Lapband around the stomach.

I'll be in the hospital for a couple of days, and under some good pain killers (hopefully) for a little while after that, so I wont be here for a little while.

I'd be lying if I told you I'm stress free, but my surgeon has done many of these procedures and has a good reputation.

Talk to you soon,
Marcel

Marcel, thank you for telling us when youre surgery is. If it's ok with you, I'll keep you in my prayers. Surgery is never easy for us to accept without being stressed out over it, but hopefully with your doctor's experience he can set your mind a little more at ease. Please, let us know how your progress goes, even if it's a quick note here and there. Stay well and think happy thoughts. Everything will be just fine!

Your friend,
Mia

Thank-you all,

And prayers are definitely welcomed. Any word put in with the Big Guy is Ok with me. He sometimes listens (You just have to be careful what you ask for)

Well, I gotta get me to bed, I think a sleeping aid will be in order tonight.

I will update you on my status as soon as I can.

Talk to you soon,
Marcel
