| anyone have any music based patterns? i've got my foot in the door at a local music store to possibly sell, if nothing else display some of my scrollsawing work...
I'm in desperate need of abunch of music oriented patterns (guitars, bass guitars, drums, a few violins and or banjos would be ok too...) anything you have that your willing to possibly let me cut out in turn to sell / display, please send the patterns my way... I've got approximately 4 weeks to get stuff cut and ready to show.
once again Thanks for any and all help that can be given,
~Tim Bonner

| You are a prolific scroller
You may want to try looking for pictures on the net of old composers, Classic composers,
They are sure to be in the public domain and therefore good to sell.
Also try browsing the net with google or picsearch and look for Music Clipart.
Try the MS clipart site. If you have MS office they are free to use. I did a quick peek and found lots that could be adapted.

| What about something like a miniature clock in something like a treble clef, Tim. I've actually seen a pattern of one for sale somewhere but can't remember where. I can't imagine it would be too difficult to come up with a cuttable design though - and I'm not sure a treble clef can be copyrighted ...
Miniature clocks in instrument shapes could work too - guitars, banjos, violins etc ...

| How about scrolling out a guitar, or a piano and having music notes flowing across it?

| You could mix-and-match all the ideas here. For example, find clip-art of a guitar and clip-art of music notes on a wavy staff and combine the two into one pattern, then make a clock out of it.
Also, can the music store help you with images? What about their logo?

| I forgot which one of you did it but that compound guitar is a great piece. I made one for my granddaughter, and even though she is a teenager, I was on her good guy list for a long time. Hopefully, I am still there.

| That would be Steve Miklos, also known as PiALaModem.
His website is http://www.carrotcreek.com
Steve hasn't been active on the forum since last November.
Some of his patterns are in recent issues of SSWC though.

| Have you looked at any of the pattern catalog websites? Every pattern catalog I receive has music patterns for sale. A few minutes on their websites, a credit card, a few clicks, and you are good to go! |
