Default Need a car pattern for a portrait ASAP (picture inside)

Gotta have it cut out by the 20th. It's for a friends friend (they're kinda late in asking me) but I need a really nice portrait of this car ASAP so i can get to cutting and meet the deadline.

I haven't had much luck myself.

Thanks a million,
~Tim Bonner

guess i should've been more spacific... just the car, and alittle more detail if possible.

Wow, that was fast.
Thank you

Hi Tim

I may well be out of my depth here because I rarely venture into shadow portrait design - segmentation's more my bag and I've never attempted a motor vehicle before. However, if you want to use the attached pattern, feel free.

Forgive me including some of the background - I thought it gave the pattern more of a context.

Incidentally what sort of car is it?

Gill

PS this pattern comes in a variety of yucky colors . If you'd like something different, let me know.

The background does add lots.
Nice job Gill!

Not a fan of the yucky colour though But I have had that same situation

I can see you have a propensity to become a Prolific Portrait Pattern Producer

I don't have much patience for fretwork, but I think it's really interesting the different patterns people come up with based on the same photograph.

I'm the same as you in that respect, Janette. It's what makes the 'Taking Aim' thread so interesting to me.

See if my memory is correct. Looks like a 1946 Chevy. The verticle bar on the grill makes it a 46. The 41's (think they made a few in 42) didn't have the verticle bar in the grill. I could be wrong, I have been a couple times.
