Default I just bought a pattern

I'm officially the first person to pay Kevin (Jediscroller) for a pattern!!!!!! I'm so proud!!!

I bought the Tall Ship pattern he has posted in the gallery. My father is a retired Merchant Marine, and loves the sea! I've got to get started now to get it done in time for Christmas!

I'm so happy!!!!!! It just makes me happy to be able to support such a great designer on a personal level. It's fun to support people on a professional level, but this seems very furfilling!!!

Good for you Bob, I don't think you should have a problem getting it done by Christmas. a friend of mine builds those from real wood kits here's a pic. BTW I built the display case for him.

I'm working on a real one right now two...a half-hull model, but that's more carving. This will be a little quicker than that <GRIN>

Well done Bob for showing such faith in a talented pattern designer. And congratulations to Kevin on the first of what I'm sure will be many successful sales.

Kevin, have you told Bob how much the woodworm and the steroids cost yet?

All I can say is how grateful I am to Bob for his constant support and encouragement. The fact that he's my first "customer" (I have a hard time calling a friend a customer) is too special for words. So to you my friend...a huge thanks!
Of course, he paid with a credit card so I don't get to frame the dollar bill from my first sale, hehehe. But I did save the PM.
There are several here (Bob included) who saw my first pattern attempts (suffice it to say they were less than stellar). They offered constant support, encouragement and most importantly help and suggestions. I bet Gill didn't think I was listening to her critiques when she offered them .
And yes, I finally registered my domain name and will have a full-blown site soon.

Gill, just wait until he finds out the rent for the woodworms, hehehehe.

That is really great that Bob was able to buy from a member. And it is wonderful to have such a talented person on this board.

I think those patterns are great. If I was into fretwork I'd deffinitely be buying some. Even though I'm not, I'm still recommending them should anyone ask.
