| Lincoln Memorial Hi Everyone, I just got this one done. It would have had a border all around instead of the pattern running into the frame but I had a small accident. I was lucky to be able to salvage this much out from under a fallen stack of oak. This is one of my own patterns. Let me know what you all think. Steve |

| Does look good Steve. And I really like that frame also. Is it possible to create that frame with a moto dremel tool?

I make my frame and just hold the bit at an angle and go with the grain of the wood just nipping at it. Be careful and hold on to the tool or flex shaft tightly it will try to get away from you. By burning it with a torch gives me the coloring on the high ridges and removes the fuzzies. Steve |

| It's great! You did a great job on both the scrolling and frame! What type of wood is it?

| Thank you all for the kind words. I will have to get away from cutting all of my portraits out of maple and try some other wood. Although I like the contrast myself. I do have oak, hickory and some cherry. What do you suggest for wood choice? Steve |
