Default Cleo

Ok, I have searched and searched for a picture of our bird, and had to wait and have the FB (firstborn) send me one from her computer. Once sent to me, I couldnt DL it, was to big!!! So Im trying again. Mind you, I have been working on this post for over an hour now!!!!!!!!!! AARRGGHHHHHHH. So..Here is our stupid bird! This is Cleo our Blue and Gold Macaw, our noisy messmaker. The colors on the original photo are pretty accurate. The irridescence in the blues give Cleo an almost greenishblue look.
As for your parrot Toni, yes, its actually a macaw, but I'm not snooty, so parrot works fine. I like the shape and style. The details are pretty accurate, but the colors dont work for me,but we each see something in our own way. Someday, if you decide to use this one as a piece for everyone to interpret their own way, I would love to do it!! I do like it a lot. Dale

Thanks Dale! One minute of looking at Cleo gives both Sue and I ideas of a design.

I love to draw birds, perhaps you may see a version of yours in the future.

Thanks again....

Take care
Toni

Dale - you never cease to amaze me! All that you two do - kids, work, scrolling, shows, 4H on and on and on... and parrot parents on top of that!

I've heard that having a parrot is like having a two-year old. I want no part of parrots or two-year olds in my house! Not until grandkids anyway...

I do really love Peete - colors are gorgeous!

Oh Shannon, your making me blush now!!!!
Toni, your welcome, I wish I had a better picture to post. From top of his head to tip of his tail is around 32 inches.
And as for having a parrot being like having a two year old.....not true, sometimes a kid will listen. Dale
