Default My newest pattern/cutting (Knight in Armor)

As I continue with my adventures of less than traditional patterns, here's my latest. This was a challenge to adapt as it was taken from a 17th century drawing. I'm really pleased with this one.
Oh....I blame the British for the detail in this one btw Gill. You guys really dressed your Knights up.

Awesome!!!! I truely like this pattern Kevin.
Might there be another in the making? To give this fine Knight a worthy opponent on the field of valor?
If not, I'd cut it in reverse and instead of a black background put red behind him. The Red Knight vs the Black Knight!

Great job Kevin!!

Oh dear, Kevin - back to your old ways, I see. How many piercing cuts in this one ?

Actually, it works well and I can understand why you're so pleased with it .

We had to do something with them - they were useless at fighting.
Hmmm... perhaps that's where the term 'clothes horse' originated?

It was our bowmen that did the business, not our knights.

WOW! That is absolutely awesome Kevin ! I love all things medieval and have played around a bit with making some patterns of knights. You're right, it is quite a challenge and beyond my talents for now . I really, really like that my friend
Any chance at all you would share that pattern ?
Excellent work in designing and cutting !

That's very impressive, Kevin - I like it a lot. Nice to see a horse with something other than a cowboy or indian on it ...

Hey if you like armour and things that are different how about this for your next project?

Thanks for those links Ian....that looks like it would make a neat pattern.
Thanks for the very kind words as well. Gill, it wasn't as bad as it looks, 426 cuts total in this one. It was some of the bridges that made me hold my breath though, hehehe (< 1/64 in some spots). Ya gotta love flat blades.

Good Work Kevin.

I wouldnt have worried too much if you cut a bridge holding an arm.
